Our facility is responsible for the care, control, and custody of Pitt County inmates, and for the safety of all inmates, staff and visitors.

No inmate is held except by court order or by other lawful authority.

We respect the constitutional rights of all citizens and strive to make this facility a safe place for all.

Inmates are treated humanely and respectfully, and in return, are expected to treat staff, visitors and other inmates courteously and with respect.
